The Minor Works Control System (MWCS) aims to facilitate building owners and occupants in carrying out small-scale building works safely and lawfully through simplified requirements.
Minor works submissions are processed differently by ICU for the following TWO types of properties developed by the Housing Authority (HA): -

Where minor works are carried out in these properties, the Prescribed Professionals or Prescribed Building Contractors carrying out the minor works should follow Procedures of Minor Works Submission and submit the relevant MW Forms.
Where minor works are carried out by contractors engaged by the tenants in these properties, the Procedures of Minor Works Submission should be followed. Relevant ICU MW Forms should be submitted with an approval-in-principle from the estate office.
The completed Minor Works records** in HA properties that are subject to the BO can be browsed in the Public Housing e-BROS.
The completed Minor Works records in HA properties that are NOT subject to the BO is not indicated in the Public Housing e-BROS.
**Remark: Regarding Minor Works records, Public Housing e-BROS mainly provides such Minor Works items which facilitate the carrying out of Alteration and Additions Works, please refer to BD’s website: https://bravo.bd.gov.hk/MWRemarks for these Minor Works items.
Upon receipt of the minor works submissions, random audit check will be carried out and the HB’s ICU may consider taking appropriate enforcement action against non-compliant works and instigating prosecution and/ or disciplinary action against the persons contravening the statutory requirements.
