To further enhance the transparency and fairness of the sales arrangements and transactions of first-hand residential properties, the Transport and Housing Bureau prepared the proposed legislation and published a consultation paper titled "Public Consultation on the Proposed Legislation to Regulate the Sale of First-Hand Residential Properties" to invite public's views on the proposed legislation during the consultation period from 29 November 2011 to 28 January 2012.
On 13 March 2012, the Transport and Housing Bureau published the Report on the Public Consultation on the Proposed Legislation to Regulate the Sale of First-Hand Residential Properties (Report) which summarizes the comments received during the public consultation exercise, and sets out our response to those views. Also, as a Compendium to the Report, we published the submissions which we received during the public consultation exercise.
