The Appeal Panel (Basic Housing Units) is an independent statutory body established under the Basic Housing Units Ordinance (Cap. 658) (the Ordinance) to handle appeals lodged by any person aggrieved by the decisions of the Secretary for Housing stipulated in section 53(1) of the Ordinance. The Chairperson of the appeal panel will appoint from the panel an appeal board to hear the appeal after a notice of appeal has been received.
